Heartbeats: Autumn Winter 2025

Heartbeats is Baum und Pferdgarten’s Autumn Winter 2025 collection: a study in free-spirited individuality, shaped by the things that make the heart skip a beat. Heartbeats: Autumn Winter 2025

Heartbeats is Baum und Pferdgarten’s Autumn Winter 2025 collection: a study in free-spirited individuality, shaped by the things that make the heart skip a beat. The mood moves between the calm poise of the British countryside and a more retro, rustic energy. Rather than settling into one expression, it makes room for combinations that feel instinctive, personal and a little unexpected.

That playful, no-rules approach is carried through a wardrobe of outerwear, knitwear, dresses, skirts, shirts, blouses, tops and jeans. Tailored references sit alongside softer, more fluid forms; practical layers meet decorative surfaces. The result is a collection built for styling through contrast, where a composed silhouette can take on a different character through texture, print or proportion.

Outerwear with a British inflection

Jackets and coats bring structure to the collection’s more expressive elements. Collars, button fronts, patch pockets, back vents and elasticated hems reference familiar outerwear codes, while loose and oversized proportions keep the feeling direct and contemporary. Explore the wider selection of coats and jackets for layers that work with tailored separates, denim and patterned foundations alike.

Checks provide a recurring thread, drawing on countryside dressing without becoming literal. They appear alongside pinstripes and striped knits, allowing pattern to shift from graphic and precise to softer and more textural. These motifs can be worn as a focal point or treated as part of a layered look, paired with a plain ribbed top, a structured vest or a skirt with volume at the hem.

Texture, pattern and knitwear in dialogue

Heartbeats uses surface as a way of changing the mood of a silhouette. Tweed, wool, denim, mesh, lace and knit constructions introduce distinct tactile notes, from compact tailoring to sheer layers and textured detail. Leopard-inspired print adds another register: bold but grounded when set against checks, denim or a simple tailored shape. For more of this recurring motif, see leopard print.

Cardigans and sweaters make the case for contrast through construction. Fair Isle motifs, cable textures and stripes sit beside smoother knitted finishes, while collars, buttons and ribbed edges lend definition. Browse autumn knitwear to continue the collection’s interplay between familiar knitwear codes and more considered proportions.

From tailored separates to expressive dresses

Suiting is reworked through fitted vests, shirts and blouses with clean necklines, button closures and pinstriped surfaces. These sharper pieces create a useful counterpoint to jeans, relaxed tops and skirts with shaped hems. A matching approach feels concise and directional, while separating the elements allows texture and proportion to lead the outfit.

Dresses take a similarly varied route, moving from relaxed mini lengths to fitted midi forms and longer, ruffled silhouettes. Asymmetrical waistlines, ruching, sheer lace and mesh layers introduce movement and detail without losing clarity. The collection’s printed dresses extend that same balance of graphic pattern, fluidity and defined shape.

Across Heartbeats, styling is an exercise in choosing what resonates: a tailored vest beneath a textured layer, a printed skirt with a neat knit, or denim set against a more decorative surface. It is a collection that welcomes the familiar and the eccentric in equal measure, letting classic wardrobe codes meet a more individual rhythm.
